Your Progress Tracked by Calistree

The Analytics tab in Calistree: the muscle recovery map shaded Ready to Fatigued, and experience-level graphs for strength, flexibility, cardio and balance over time

Numbers don’t lie

Being able to experience your first pull-up or front lever is an invigorating experience, but sometimes it takes a while to get there. That’s why we created an analytics tab for every Calistree user, to show you the numbers when you’re not feeling the progress.

Top-notch fitness analysis

The records show that Calistree’s analytics feature is top-notch data delivery, all designed to help you get stronger. Open the analytics tab and you’ll be greeted with a comprehensive review of what muscles need to rest, and what muscles are ready for action, all rated as “ready”, “recovering”, or “fatigued”, and based off of previously logged sessions. An experience profile will be next, which gives a performance evaluation in 4 measures: Strength, Flexibility, Balance, and Cardio. Tap each one to look deeper into your personal stats by anatomy and skill, or scroll down to see objective and exercise readiness. Last but not least: experience points. Experience points (XP) are an accumulative number based on how much exercise mastery you’ve logged in the app. Calistree also gives members a Year-In-Review analysis showcasing all the progress you make!

How do those numbers add up?

Each exercise has its own profile that details joint movements, muscle groups, and skill level. Calistree uses your skill mastery data to calculate how much progress you need for specific joint movements, muscle strengthening, flexibility, or cardio capabilities. Calistree also analyzes these numbers to make suggestions for automatic progressions.

An app that syncs to your Apple Health and Health Connect

On both iOS and Android, Calistree imports all of the runs, rides, and walks logged in other places to your Calistree account and contributes this data to your recovery map and cardio analysis. Likewise, Calistree exports your workouts, calories, bodyweight and height to your Apple Health and Health Connect.

Free and all for you!

What’s yours is yours. Calistree offers a PDF or JSON export of your sessions to keep, print or analyze. And the best part is that everything from the complete fitness analysis to the year-in-review and the XP is all available in the ever-so generous free plan.

Possibly the best bodyweight fitness app. I particularly like that it allows you to incorporate weightlifting as well; most apps only track bodyweight or weights and those that do both usually don't do it well. The journey feature is powerful, allowing me to configure training into upper/lower days. Skill progression is solid, making it a great app for learning specific calisthenic skills and the stats after each work are just awesome, it really pushes you to progress. Thanks Louis!

Calistree is the app that I use for the past 2years(The free version). One of the best apps around if someone wants to try Calisthenics. Tried a dozen of other similar apps and even read User reviews, but this thing is the coolest. Its AI analytics after a Workout(with body heat map) actually helps to understand whether we'r ready OR the muscles are still recovering. PS: Suggestion- It will be great if you add 'WALKIN' exercise to your already hugest lists. Kudos to Louis and team. Thank you.

This app is amazing at varied ranges of workouts, for me personally I tend to do my home workouts excluding equipment which Calistree supports allowing me to get on with my calisthenics exercises and also providing an in-depth overview of recovery physically on different areas of the body which is pretty neat. Overall it’s free for the most of it unless you would like optional extras it’s completely free all workouts and I would highly recommend!

Questions

Does it sync with Apple Health and Health Connect?

Yes, on both platforms. It imports cardio activities (walks, runs, rides) that feed your cardio level and the recovery map, along with your bodyweight and height, and it exports your sessions (tagged with the right workout type), calories, bodyweight and height.

Why is a muscle Fatigued while its level is going down?

Because they measure different things. Fatigue (Ready, Recovering, Fatigued) is short-term recovery from your recent training. Your experience level is your long-term strength, which rises when you train and slowly decays when you do not. A light session can leave a muscle fatigued for a day while its long-term level dips a little from the daily decay.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export everything as a PDF, as JSON, or as an AI-ready training-history file you can hand to any AI assistant to analyze. Your data is yours.

Is there an Apple Watch app?

Not today. You track and log on your phone. Cardio you record on a watch and send to Apple Health or Health Connect still imports into Calistree and counts toward your cardio level.
