What’s In Our Library?
1,800 exercises sounds like a lot, and it is! Calistree has a massive exercise library for any kind of fitness app. From bodyweight exercises like a Wall Push-up and Front Lever, to weighted and resistance exercises like a Bench Press and Biceps Curl, we have what you’re training for. Cardio exercises like running, walking and cycling can be tracked through Calistree, as well as dozens of yoga and partner acrobatics poses. We want you to track all things fitness, all in one place, fully functional in the free version.
Each exercise is loaded with its own demonstration video that is looped and auto-synced locally, so you can check your form before and during your workout, and while offline. The descriptions are in-depth, may contain form tips and risks to consider, and are provided for every exercise in Calistree. Whether you’re training cardio, working towards your first pull-up, or going for a Muscle-up, Calistree has an endless and free resource of exercises for you to choose from.
Did You Say Free?
No caveats, no fine print. Our expansive exercise library is always free to the public. At Calistree, we believe in making fitness accessible to everyone and this value shines through in our generous library. You can access the entire library on our app, or on the web at calistree.app/exercises.
Is the Library Actually “Endless”?
Well, in theory! Our library was developed to grow with our users. You can simply create a custom exercise and press the “Request to add officially” button to send it directly to us for review and approval. In December 2025, we added over 200 user-suggested exercises. This is one thing that sets Calistree apart from other apps: we don’t want to just track weights and reps, we want to build a community. We want to hear from you, and grow with you!
As if making the largest exercise library available free and continuously growing wasn’t enough, we decided to create data sheets for each exercise. Each exercise’s data sheet contains helpful info such as:
- A score that judges an exercise on strength, flexibility, cardio, or balance
- Muscle engagement and joint movements
- Difficulty rating (Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite, and Herculean)
- Velocity (static, dynamic, or explosive)
- Sagittal symmetry (bilateral, unilateral, alternate sides, or circles)
- Equipment that is necessary, and possible substitutes
- A skill tree for making progressions easy!

I I have ridden the fitness roller coaster. Athletic and 250lb, 5’10 couch potato stops on the ride. After a long stretch of illness, after being diagnosed, it was time to fix my body. I tried to just go Apple Fitness plus but I kept hurting myself and not getting anywhere. I needed to take it a little slower. Be more targeted. Body weight, resistance bands, balance work, flexibility, cardio. I went looking for fitness apps. I tried em all. My wife told me to stop all the subscriptions. I found this app and canceled all the others. After some time I bought the subscription. The incredible number of exercises. The trees. The video demonstrations. The complete and total control of everything. The way it gently leads your progress. My routines are HIIT, zone two cardio, balance, total body strength, isometric holds, yoga, and primal movements. My 53yo systemic illness having body is getting stronger, more flexible, and more reliable. My wife said she was tight in a certain part of her body. I said use Calistree. Target that part using flexibility and do the stretches. She did. She felt better. This app is simply the best.

Hundreds of body weight exercises with descriptions and video demonstrations, able to sort by muscle groups, difficulty, type of exercise (strength, flexibility, etc). You can easily track your progression and the skill trees can help you find out what to try next. If you want to get fit without going to the gym then this app is perfect for you. Whether you're a total beginner and completely out of shape or you've been working out for years, there's no shortage of exercises to try.

I’m really happy to have found this app. Massive library of exercises, flexible programming, useful videos. Whenever I wonder if it has a certain function, I quickly find that it does. I’ve been making great progress since tracking all my workouts with it.
Questions
Is the exercise library free?
Yes, all of it: every exercise, its video, its data sheet and its skill tree, in the app and on the web. The free plan limits custom exercises to 3 (250 on PRO); the official library has no limit.
Can I browse the exercises without installing the app?
Yes. calistree.app/exercises lists the whole library, and every exercise has a public page with its video, data sheet and skill tree. Training and logging happen in the mobile app.
Does every exercise have a video?
Yes. Every official exercise is filmed. Every exercise also has written form tips: technique, form cues and risks.
Can I add my own exercises?
Yes. Build a custom exercise or a custom flow with a description, a photo and a video, use it in your routines like any other, and send it with "Request to add officially" if you think everyone should have it. Most additions to the library started that way.
